Joseph Okechukwu, a.k.a King Joe is an acclaimed Nigerian (Nollywood) Film Actor, Producer, Director of about thirteen years. Popularly known as King Joe Okechukwu in the movies, Joseph has featured in nearly a hundred African movies between 1996 and 2007, when he took a break for schooling and career upgrade. He has equally produced and directed a couple of movies including his award winning movie "UNSHACKLED", produced in 2002 in Accra, Ghana.

Joseph is also a documentarian and has produced many thought-provoking documentaries in Nigeria, Europe and beyond. One of Joseph's Documentaries, Tribute, aired on TBN in 2007. Joseph's all time favorites are "ALICE MY FIRST LADY", "RINGS OF FIRE", “NAOMI”, "BILLIONAIRES' CLUB 3", "FALLING APART", "MARK OF THE BEAST", "NEVER SAY NEVER", "INDECENT DESIRE". Joseph's incredible passion for accuracy fueled his pursuit of excellence at the New York Film Academy, Universal Studios, Hollywood, California where he studied Filmmaking.

Joseph is currently studying Media Productions at the American Intercontinental University in Atlanta, Georgia. Joseph is also a passionate motivator and has authored a classic motivational book, "Echoes From A Distance". His latest publication in the United States is titled “Nigerians In Diaspora, USA- Fact Book”. Joseph is currently working on other publications, a documentary, a musical album and related projects.

After three years of self-imposed sabbatical, Joseph will be making a phenomenal career come-back later in 2010 with his long awaited movie- Second Chances, and later, Roses from an Angel, courtesy of Screenscope Pictures.
